According to the embodiments of the present invention, the present invention provides an additive composition and a manufacturing method thereof, comprising: an additive including at least one type of low-melting-point particles having a melting point of 900C or less; and a dispersion medium wherein the low-melting-point particle includes a compound of metal selected among Sr, Ni, Cu, Cr, Bi, Co, Ca, Zr, Mg, and Mn, has a grain diameter of 1.0 m or less (excluding 0 m) and dispersed on a colloid inside the dispersion medium. In addition, the present invention provides an annealing separation agent to which the additive composition is added, the manufacturing method thereof, and the method of manufacturing directional electric steel using the same.
