According to an embodiment of the present invention, a low power DC-DC converter of a discontinuous current mode comprises: a capacitor driven in a discontinuous current mode; an inductor; first and second switches; and a switching control unit configured to generate first and second switching signals for controlling the first and second switches. The switching control unit can determine the length of a second active section to be applied to a next switching cycle based on a voltage level of a contact point where the first and second switches are connected to the inductor during a common inactive section from an end of the second active section of a current switching cycle until a start of a first active section of the next switching cycle.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
