Provided is an apparatus for detecting a break-in using an optical loss change generated by bending of an optical fiber, capable of being applied to a large security area at low costs and having a simple structure but high break-in detecting ability. The apparatus for detecting a break-in comprises: a plurality of bending devices fixed to the ground; an optical fiber extending through the bending device; a pressurizing member connected with the bending device in a sliding manner; and an optical detector connected with one end of the optical fiber to transmit light and detect the returned light. The bending device includes: a body having a first guide groove; and a pressing member disposed in the first guide groove in a sliding manner. The optical fiber extends from a lower side of the pressing member. When the pressurizing member is pressed by a person who attempts a break-in, the pressurizing member pressurizes the pressing member and accordingly the pressing member presses a part of the optical fiber so that a bent part is formed at one portion of the optical fiber with the body.
