The present invention relates to a salt removal system and method with respect to a partial target district designated from reclaimed land, comprising: an outer drainage channel configured to sequentially dig soil along an edge of a target district from entire land of reclaimed land such that sea water remaining in strata of the reclaimed land is leaked under the target district and stagnated; water intake land connected to the outer drainage channel, and allowing the sea water of the outer drainage channel to be collected thereto so as to supply raw water to desalination facility; flat mud solum mounted to a suitable height by using flat mud, which is dug for forming the outer drainage channel and the water intake land connected thereto, as soil resource of the target district in the state of having enlarged pores; a capillary phenomenon prevention layer of the sea water, formed by gravel stratum and a fabric layer on the top of the reclaimed land before mounting the soil; and sea water desalination facility for inducing that the sea water remaining in the strata of the target district is leaked through the outer drainage channel and an underground sea water level of the target district is lowered, and generating fresh water through the desalination facility by using the sea water stagnated in the water intake land and the outer drainage channel so as to supply the fresh water for a method of removing salt from the flat mud solum. The present invention, unlike a conventional technique, removes salt from only the target district from entire target reclaimed land to enable only a designated section of the reclaimed land to be used for an industrial purpose, thereby maximizing availability of the reclaimed land.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
