The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition. In particular, the present invention relates to a cosmetic composition including a Dioscorea japonica root extract fermented material, a Pueraria mirifica root extract, a mineral extract, and a Porphyra umbilicalis extract, wherein the Dioscorea japonica root extract fermented material is obtained by fermenting a Dioscorea japonica root extract by Lactobacillus plantarum. The cosmetic composition of the present invention shows very excellent effects in soothing skin, alleviating skin irritation, alleviating skin inflammation, maintaining skin moisture, and improving skin elasticity because a Dioscorea japonica root extract fermented material, a Pueraria mirifica root extract, a mineral extract, and a Porphyra umbilicalis extract are harmonized.
