The present invention provides a coating solution and a production method for forming an anti-corrosion film capable of simultaneously satisfying anti-corrosion and etching properties by being applied to a surface of a Fe-Ni alloy metallic foil. Also, the present invention provides a method of forming a film by applying the solution to the metallic foil, and a metallic foil on which the film is formed. The coating solution includes: 0.1-6.0 wt% of trivalent chromic acid; 3.0-15 wt% of amorphous silica; alkali metal hydroxide; and remaining water.
