The present invention relates to powder maintaining active ingredients and green chlorophyll of Cirsium setidens leaf, and a manufacturing method thereof. According to the present invention, the method comprises the following steps: blanching harvested Cirsium setidens leaf, and then dewatering, drying, and pulverizing the blanched Cirsium setidens leaf to manufacture powder; heating water with a salinity of 2 to 4% up to 98 to 100C; inserting 8 to 12 Kg of Cirsium setidens leaf when the temperature of the water reaches 100C and blanching the Cirsium setidens leaf for 100 to 140 seconds; and using washing water of 2 to 10C to repeatedly wash the Cirsium setidens leaf completing the blanching step for five times, wherein the lower the temperature of the washing water is better to maintain greenness after pulverization. According to the present invention, the Cirsium setidens leaf is not browned during drying and is processed into powder to contain a lot of active ingredients while maintaining the color intensity of green, and thereby the powder of the Cirsium setidens leaf can be sold all the times of the year due to easy storage.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
