The present invention provides a savonius wind turbine having a gap control device, capable of improving operation efficiency of the whole by controlling a gap between blades by each driving section when the wind turbine operates. According to the present invention, the savonius wind turbine includes: a blade unit having a first blade and a second blade adjacent to the first blade; an upper plate connected to the upper surface of the blade unit; a lower plate connected to the lower surface of the blade unit; and the gap control device controlling the gap between the first blade and the second blade while moving the first blade and the second blade in the horizontal direction at the same time. The gap control device includes: a motor-gear assembly; a first moving unit connected to the motor-gear assembly and horizontally moving the first blade; and a second moving unit horizontally moving the second blade. The motor-gear assembly includes: a motor; a main gear shaft rotating in accordance with the rotation of the motor; and a main gear installed on one end of the main gear shaft.
