According to an embodiment of the present invention, a honk signal generating method performed by a honk signal generating apparatus of a vehicle comprises: a step of receiving an input of a vehicle driver by a driver input module when the driver input module is operated by the vehicle driver; a step of determining whether a type of the input of the vehicle driver is a forcible input or an ordinary input depending on a status of the driver input module; and a step of generating at least one among a honk signal and a honk sound depending on the type of the input of the vehicle driver. Therefore, when a user input module is operated by a user while driving to receive an input of a vehicle driver, at least one among a honk signal and a honk sound is generated depending on a type of the input of the vehicle driver to prevent generation of a honk sound in a place where noise must be suppressed to reduce harm due to noise.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
