The present invention relates to a method for producing an oxide support-metal nanoparticle composite, and an oxide support-metal nanoparticle composite produced by the method. According to the present invention, the oxide support-metal nanoparticle composite exhibits stable catalytic activities and durability at a high temperature, since nanometer-scaled metal particles are strongly inserted into and uniformly distributed on a crystal grain system of a surface of oxide supports. In addition, the oxide support-metal nanoparticle composite can be produced and regenerated via a simple process according to the present invention.
