FIELD: medicine, diagnostics.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of diagnostics, namely to method for determination of disease duration in case of Q fever in patients under 50. The method for determination of disease duration in case of Q fever consists in the following: in blood serum of patients under 50 activity of catalase is determined at 1 or 2 weeks of the disease, by solution of regression equations of dependence between catalase activity, duration of endotoxicosis and duration of disease, in case of Q fever duration of disease is determined in days; if activity of blood serum catalase is determined at 1 week of disease, duration of disease is determined with 1-2 days accuracy, and if activity of blood serum catalase is determined at 2 weeks of disease - with accuracy up to 1-3 days.;EFFECT: invented method increases accuracy of determination of disease duration in case of Q fever.;3 tbl, 4 ex
