FIELD: test equipment.;SUBSTANCE: test sample is placed between two electrodes of the condenser, the sample is heated at a constant rate by a contact method, the temperature and dielectric parameters of the sample are measured. The test sample is periodically subjected to a penetrating high-frequency electrical field with the heating switched off and the variable anode current of the high-frequency equipment is simultaneously recorded, and also the linear thermal expansion of the test sample is continuously recorded too. According to the data obtained, the dependence of the anode current on temperature and the dependence of the linear thermal expansion of the test sample on temperature and on their extrema, the borders of phase and relaxation transitions are determined. And periodic exposure to the test sample of a high-frequency electrical field is done for a short time (1 second) after each temperature rise of the test sample by 5°C.;EFFECT: increasing the accuracy and reliability of determining phase and relaxation transitions in polymeric materials.;3 cl, 2 dwg
