Throttle flaps opening - control method for an internal combustion engine (1) with electronically controlled throttle valve (8), which is a goal opening determining a direction (a) for determining a target opening (tgtvo) of the throttle valve (8) corresponding to a required output power of the motor (1) and a throttle flaps drive a direction (b) for opening and closing of the throttle valve (8) with an actuation member (13) to obtain the target opening (tgtvo), a throttle sensor (9) for determining an opening of the throttle valve (8) and an accelerator opening sensor (17) for determining an opening of an accelerator pedal, with the following process steps:Calculating a corrected throttle valve opening (tpo1ql) from a throttle valve opening (tpo1) which, by means of the throttle sensor (9) has been determined, and a correction value (tvofql) of the throttle valve opening, and determining a new correction value (tvofql) of the throttle valve opening of an intake air quantity (tpqrl), which consists of a calculation based on the corrected throttle valve opening (tpo1ql) and an actual intake air quantity (tp) is achieved,according to the determining the correction value (tvofql) of the throttle valve opening calculating a mean value (qfbiave) a rear coupling correction value (qfbi) for the regulation of a rotational idling speed of the engine (1) to a desired speed, and determining a correction value (atasln) of a throttle flaps opening surface on the basis of the mean value (qfbiave), andConverting a gas pedal opening (apo) which, by means of the accelerator opening sensor (17) has been determined, in a gas pedal opening area (aapo), calculating an opening area (ttaapo) from the accelerator pedal opening area (aapo) and the correction value (atasln) of the throttle flaps opening surface, calculating a throttle valve opening (tdtvo) corresponding to a new air quantity based on the opening area (ttaapo), and determining the target opening (tgtvo) of the opening of the throttle valve (tdtvo) in accordance with the new quantity of air and the correction value (tvofql) of the throttle valve opening.
