Active wet steam process for steam turbines and steam turbine with active wet steam device

A process for cleaning steam turbines is described. By means of plasma-activated wet steam, even sparingly soluble salt deposits are effectively removed from the turbine blades. The method can be used during operation of the steam turbine. In addition, a device for generating the active wet steam is described, which can be installed with a steam turbine or can be retrofitted, for example, in existing steam power plants.
