A motor stand (100) and a method of forming the motor stand (100) are proposed. The method comprises the following steps: providing a plurality of plates or metal powder, forming the plate or metal powder into a plurality of magnetic lamellae, each magnetic lamination having a yoke portion (21) and a plurality of stator teeth (23), wherein each stator tooth (23) has a tooth portion (231) and two pole pieces (233), an end of one of the pole shoes (233) extending in the direction away from the yoke portion (21) to form a bent portion (237) ; axially overlapping the plurality of magnetic laminations and securing the magnetic laminations to form a stator core (20); winding the stator core (20) with wires; and bending the arcuate portions (237) toward adjacent stator teeth (23) to form a smooth transitional connection between the arcuate portions (237) and the pole pieces (233) associated therewith. The method allows a fast and comfortable winding.
