The present disclosure is a hand-held cutting tool 100 that includes a handle 101, an operating unit 102, and a damping assembly 200. The handle 101 further includes a stationary part 101c and a flexible part 101d pivotally attached to the stationary part 101c. Here, at least a part of the operation unit 102 is attached to the flexible part 101d, and at least part of the damper assembly 200 is positioned in the stationary part 101c. The damper assembly 200 includes a rod 201 that connects the flexible part 101 d with the stationary part 101 c of the handle 101. The rod 201 is connected to the stationary part 101 c by a flexible member 202 and designed to damp vibrations of the operating unit 102 with respect to the handle 101. The rod 201 connected to the flexible part 101 d by a pivot 203 is designed to damp the vibrations of the operating unit 102 with respect to the handle 101.
