The present invention relates to a rubber composition made from at least: an elastomer matrix comprising natural rubber; a reinforcing filler; and a cross-linking system; characterised in that said natural rubber comprises at least 90% by weight, with respect to the total weight of the natural rubber, of a natural rubber having a bimodal molecular mass distribution, as determined by SEC-MALS. The invention also relates to a method for preparing such a composition, a tyre component comprising same and a tyre comprising said component.
