The plug contactors (10) has a left link element (15) and a right connecting element (16) which are provided for connecting the plug contactor main portion having a respective transfer element, and a shot coil (12) that provides a weft thread with a stock (20). The shot coil is actively driven in rotation with a drive (30) which is determined for influencing the shot coil to accelerate either release or delay weft. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a weaving machine; and (2) a weaving method for plug contactor.
