Thus, at the parking level, depending on the available reactive power capability, it is possible to switch to an alternative (gentler) regime. Thus, an overload of the remaining (active) wind turbines (1) can be effectively avoided. That makes the wind farm more robust. It is even possible to maintain a control reserve, so that additional reactive power can be delivered in the event of further voltage deviations. The network stability improves with it.
