PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To embody CAFS being large-scale equipment into a foam extinguisher of a pressurized type and an accumulator type.;SOLUTION: A foam generation unit 150 of the present invention is a component provided in a siphon tube (128) of a foam extinguisher of a pressurized type or an accumulator type with foam water solution filled in a container (110). The foam generation unit comprises an orifice unit 152 penetrated and formed in the longitudinal direction so that the foam water solution flowing into the siphon tube (128) may pass through, and a high pressure gas inflow port 154 penetrated and formed so as to come in communication with the orifice unit 152 from an inlet opened in the container.
