PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for using a heat medium flowing in a pipe as a heat source, efficiently driving a magnetic fluid, and transferring heat.SOLUTION: A magnetic fluid drive device 100 comprises: a double pipe 10 including an inside pipe 11, and an outside pipe 12 formed outside the inside pipe 11; and a magnetic field application part 30 arranged outside the double pipe 10. The inside pipe 11 comprises a high heat conductive region 21 and a low heat conductive region 22 arranged in parallel in a length direction of the inside pipe 11 in a region to which a magnetic field is applied by the magnetic field application part 30. An internal space of the inside pipe 11 is a flow passage for a heat medium, and a space between the inside pipe 11 and the outside pipe 12 is a flow passage for a magnetic fluid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
