PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine tension of a belt accurately at low cost.SOLUTION: A natural frequency measurement device measures a natural frequency of a belt, based on vibration when a part between adjacent pulleys on the belt is vibrated, on a belt transmission device on which, the belt is stretched and extended between at least two pulleys. The natural frequency measurement device comprises: an acceleration sensor attached to the part on the belt, and detects acceleration by the vibration of the be and a measurement tool for measuring the natural frequency of the belt, based on the acceleration detected by the acceleration sensor. The measurement tool sends the natural frequency to a belt tension calculation device for calculating the tension of the belt based on the natural frequency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
