PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve attendance to customers so as to promote purchasing behavior of each customer after entering a shop.;SOLUTION: The customer management system includes a server which manages a customer database storing attribute information on each customer and a terminal carried by a customer attending staff. The server includes detection means, determination means and notification means. The terminal includes informing means. The detection means detect a visit of a customer to the shop. The determination means determines whether customer attendance is required on the basis of attribute information on the customer whose visit is detected by the detection means. The notification means notifies the terminal of the visit of the customer when the determination means determines that customer attendance is required.
