LOAD REMOVAL APPARATUS AND LOAD REMOVAL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove the load of a long construction member in a reusable way even if that is constrained by the allowable tensile force and the tension extra length.;SOLUTION: A load removal apparatus 10 includes a wrench 12 for rotating a nut 84 of a long construction member, a rotation jack 14 that has a shaft attachment portion for detachably journaling the wrench 12, and a fixing member 18 that fixes the rotation jack 14 to a bearing pressure plate 86 so that the expansion and contraction movement of the rotation jack 14 can be converted into the rotation movement of the wrench 12. With such a configuration, by forcibly rotating the nut 84 in the loosening direction by utilizing the expansion and contraction movement of the rotation jack 14, it becomes possible to prevent the long construction member from being tensioned by a tension jack and remove the load of the long construction member.
