PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transport medium having a high impregnation efficiency of a latent heat storage substance to a porous body and capable of efficiently utilizing a latent heat of the latent heat storage substance, a mixed liquid for heat transport using the medium and a heat transport method.SOLUTION: A heat transport medium transported by a liquid fluid in a temperature region used includes a porous body and a latent heat storage substance impregnated into a pore portion of the porous body, in which a latent heat storage substance (such as paraffines) having a melting point in the temperature region used and higher fatty acid or derivative thereof insoluble to the fluid are impregnated in the pore part of the porous body. The higher fatty acid or the derivative thereof may be saturated or unsaturated fatty acids having 8 to 30 carbons, poly alcoholic esters of the saturated or unsaturated fatty acid, or higher alcohols corresponding to the fatty acids, or may have a hydroxyl group and/or a carboxyl group. A weight ratio of the latent heat storage substance and the higher fatty acid or the derivative thereof may be the former/the latter=99.5/0.5 to 50/50, the ratio of the latent heat storage substance may be about 100 to 5000 parts by weight relative to 100 parts by weight of the porous body.SELECTED DRAWING: None
