PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air purifying and greening unit and an air purifying and greening apparatus which can discharge surplus water and/or nutrient solution inside a planting container to the outside of a housing, can prevent root rot due to accumulation of the surplus water and/or nutrient solution in the planting container, and can prevent corrosion of the housing by the nutrient solution.SOLUTION: An air purifying and greening unit 1 comprises: a planting container having a planting portion 16 on the front side and filled up with soil and/or base; a housing 3 having an opening on the front side and provided with a housing space to house the planting container; and a water-conveyance member 4.
