PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select low-molecular-weight compounds which are effective in inducing differentiation of a mesenchymal stem cell into a hepatocyte and to provide a safe differentiation-inducing method having excellent efficiency of differentiating a mesenchymal stem cell into a hepatocyte.SOLUTION: A cell sheet is obtained by exposing a mesenchymal stem cell for a predetermined period to a compound having Wint/β-catenin signal pathway inhibitory action, as represented by formula (1), and thus inhibiting the Wint/β-catenin signal pathway of the mesenchymal stem cell.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
