PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereo camera-based autonomous driving method, and an apparatus therefor.SOLUTION: An autonomous driving method comprises: determining a parameter for determining a stereo camera width of a stereo camera on the basis of the estimated driving situation of the vehicle; controlling a capture unit configured to control arrangement between two cameras of the stereo camera for a first direction on the basis of the determined parameter; and measuring a depth of an object located in the first direction on the basis of two images respectively captured by the two cameras in the controlled arrangement.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
