PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modularization plane coupling device capable of preventing deformation of a seal material that is used for laminating a plane solid oxide fuel cell from influencing a fuel flow or preventing an adverse influence from being exerted upon output efficiency or stability of the fuel cell by dissolving the seal material in reaction with a fuel, and a solid oxide fuel cell with the same.SOLUTION: A modularization plane coupling device (2) for a solid oxide fuel cell includes a plane coupling body (21), a pair of upper shield plates (5), and a pair of lower shield plates (4). The upper shield plate (5) is configured to be fitted between a front boundary wall surface (2542) and a rear boundary wall surface (2543) of a first injection region (254) of the plane coupling body (21) and between a front boundary wall surface (2552) and a rear boundary wall surface (2553) of a first discharge region (255) of the plane coupling body (21). The lower shield plate (4) may also be configured to have a similar structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
