A travelling lane identification unit 22 identifies a travelling lane La of other vehicle Va in accordance with a lateral position of the other vehicle with respect to the travelling track when detecting the other vehicle travelling at the rear of the own vehicle. A lane change propriety determination unit 23 determines whether or not an own vehicle Vo can change a lane to a direction indicated by a driver according to an identification result of the travelling lane identification unit 22 when an operation detection unit 14 detects a direction indication operation of the driver. Then, a notification unit 16 notifies the driver of the own vehicle Vo of a determination result of the lane change propriety determination unit 23.
