PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify and assess a risk in a supply chain network.SOLUTION: A visual model includes: logical stations graphically representing physical sites in a supply chain network; and logical transits graphically representing transportations of materials between the physical sites. For each logical station, risk values are identified for risk categories associated with the physical site. The risk values are identified based on physical conditions related to: the physical site represented by the logical station, each physical site represented by a logical station positioned in a downstream supply chain path to the given logical station, and each transportation represented by a logical transit positioned in the downstream supply chain path. Dynamic graphical indications are generated comparing the identified risk values for the risk categories and total risk values for the physical sites and transportations.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
