This document describes techniques and apparatus that allow determining health trends for consistent patient situations. Various non-invasive health monitoring can be used to detect the patient's condition and health status, including disease progression, in those conditions. These non-invasive health monitors can also function passively and in the patient's normal daily life, and in many cases the patient has almost no judgment on their health management or health trends. Since it does not have to be done, the desire for many patients to receive monitoring increases and the consistency of use can increase. A more accurate and more robust health trend can be determined if the health status is determined for a consistent patient situation. In particular, parameters such as heart rhythm, respiratory rate or spinal curvature can be determined using a radar-based motion detection system located near the patient's bed.
