PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air motor which can be small-sized in an axial direction, and an air tool which can be small-sized by including the air motor.SOLUTION: In an air motor 10, a cylinder 30 includes a cylindrical wall 30-1 and an upper end wall 30-2 which is provided so as to close an end portion of the cylindrical wall. An internal space 36 surrounded by the cylindrical wall and the end wall is defined. A rotary drive member 12 includes: a rotary shaft 12-1 which is set to the cylinder 30 in a freely rotatable manner; and a rotor 12-2 which is fixed to the rotary shaft within the internal space. The rotary shaft 12-1 is supported in a freely rotatable manner by a bearing support part 40-1 which is fixed to the upper end wall of the cylinder and extends into the internal space of the cylinder in a direction of a rotation center axis C of the rotary shaft, and a bearing 40-2.
