PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exercise tool of characters and the like and exercise method of characters and the like allowing a person to accurately write characters and the like from a copybook by own memory without looking the copy by learning and memorizing the shapes and features of characters and putting them on a firm basis.SOLUTION: The exercise tool of characters and the like comprises: a first exercise part A including copy columns in which copies of characters and the like including characters, codes or diagrams are described, and exercise columns in which trace copies of the characters and the like are described; a second exercise part B comprising the copy columns and exercise columns being blank, and arranging the copy columns and the exercise columns adjacent to each other; and a third exercise part C comprising exercise columns being blank. The exercise tool of characters and the like and exercise method of characters and the like are configured to arrange the first exercise part A, the second exercise part B, and the third exercise part C in this order.
