PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the frequency of manufacturing line stoppage and suppress a decline in production capacity in a manufacturing line in which a supporter settles a work delay.SOLUTION: When a work delay occurs in any process within a manufacturing line 1A, and while a supporter is executing remaining work that could not be finished by a worker in a support area 11 of the process, a work delay occurs in another process within the same manufacturing line 1A, a line management device 4 calculates a sum total of remaining work man-hours in the process being supported, supporter man-hours between processes, and remaining work man-hours in the other process, and when the sum total is smaller than workable man-hours of the supporter in the other process, makes production continue without causing the manufacturing line 1A to stop.
