PSOLUTION: This design management device 10 for performing data management of the design of the final production product has: a unit design storage part 103 for storing unit design data of an assembly component unit produced by a plurality of minimum unit components together with component design data of the corresponding minimum unit components; a production design storage part 105 for storing product design data of the final production product produced by a plurality of the assembly component units together with the corresponding unit design data; a data transmission part 107 for transmitting the product design data to a production management device 20 performing data managing of the production of the final production product together with the corresponding unit design data and component design data; a transmission decision part 109 for deciding whether or not the unit design data of the product design data transmitted to the production management device 20 have been transmitted in the past; and a transmission control part 111 not transmitting the component design data corresponding to the unit design data when transmitting the unit design data decided that they have been transmitted in the past.
