PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for appropriately evaluating the flexibility of a sheet specimen even if the film thickness is extremely small.SOLUTION: The method for evaluation includes the steps of supporting a sheet specimen with a specimen supporting tool; and measuring the relation between a force applied on a pressing tool and a displacement amount of the pressing tool by pressing an end of the pressing tool into the sheet specimen into a vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
