PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high hardness martensitic stainless steel, since organic acid is included in deteriorated gasoline, and, particularly, the corrosion of a steel caused by formic acid and acetic acid is anxiety, with which a component such as an automotive engine fuel injector (an automotive fuel injection pump) has excellent corrosion resistance even in an organic acid environment such as a formic acid and acetic acid.SOLUTION: Provided is a martensitic stainless steel comprising, by mass, 0.60 to 0.75% C, 0.05 to 0.30% Si, 0.01 to 0.30% Mn, 10.00 to 12.00% Cr and 0.10 to 2.00% Cu, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, having corrosion resistance to organic acid, particularly, to formic acid and acetic acid, and having a hardness of 54 or higher in HRC.
