PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide Ag paste capable of forming an electrode excellent in conductivity by short time low temperature firing.SOLUTION: Provided is Ag paste containing Ag powder and a dispersion medium. The Ag powder satisfies the following conditions: (1) that, in a particle size distribution on a piece standard, the Dparticle diameter equivalent to the cumulative 50 pieces% from the one with a smaller particle diameter is 80-200 nm; (2) that the ratio of spherical Ag fine particles with an aspect ratio below 1.5 is 60 to below 85 pieces% to the whole of the Ag fine particles composing the Ag powder; (3) that a protective agent made of organic amine having a carbon number of 5 or lower is stuck to the surface; and (4) that, provided that the whole of the Ag powder is defined as 100 mass%, the protective agent being 1.2 mass% or lower. Further, the dispersion medium is composed of a solvent whose boiling point under the atmospheric pressure is 150°C or lower.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
