A system and method of controlling wind buffeting for a vehicle includes a first window assembly movable between a closed position and at least one open position and a second window assembly movable between a closed position and at least one open position. A controller detects whether a speed of the vehicle exceeds a predetermined speed value and determines the position of the second window assembly when the vehicle speed exceeds the predetermined speed value. The position of the first window assembly is determined when the second window assembly is in the at least one open position. A buffeting member is adjusted from a first position to at least one second position in response to the controller determining the first window assembly is in the closed position.
