Described is a mobile lifting system with the aim of being an aid for lifting wheelchairs so that wheelchair users can overcome an obstacle threshold on their roadway autonomously with their wheelchair on which this mobile lifting system is mounted. This obstacle threshold can occur both in a rising line and in a descending line. This means that the roadway surface behind the obstacle threshold can be both higher and lower than the roadway surface on which the wheelchair user is sitting with his wheelchair before he will have to overcome the threshold obstacle.
