Adjuvant compositions, vaccines, constructs for preparing adjuvant and vaccine compositions, and methods for using the adjuvant and vaccine compositions to improve immune responses in individuals are provided herein. in particular, a rapid antibody response to the vaccine, including igg (in circulation) and follow (mucosal secretory iga), is obtained. adjuvants and vaccines may be used for subcutaneous or mucosal administration, allowing for effective low cost vaccination of individuals. An epitope mapping method for rapidly identifying antigenic epitopes is also provided.
