Based on perovskitas catalyst for hydrogen production by reforming of glycerol.The present invention is a new catalyst for hydrogen production from reforming in liquid phase of glycerol.The new catalyst, the object of this invention is comprised of a solid structure is perovskita type lani1 - xruxo3 (x = 0 to 1).They are alternative catalysts for production of hydrogen of high purity from the reform of glycerol in liquid phase.The samples were prepared by citrate method of amorphous and calcined to 1000 u00b0 C.The catalysts were reduced with hydrogen and evaluated in the reform net glycerol, conducted the 225u00bac and 24 ATM.The catalysts were active in the reform of the obtained liquid glycerol and selective to hydrogen.The addition of ruthenium to the nickel catalysts has led to the formation of more active catalysts with higher yield hydrogen; on the other hand,The ruthenium has contributed to increase the selectivity of the catalyst to hydrogen.The catalyst is more promising was the one obtained by reduction of the perovskita lani0,8ru0,2o3, which presented conversion and hydrogen yield higher.Producing significant quantities of methane, ethane and ethylene and not producing carbon monoxide.
