synthesis process of a restricted access hybrid polymer combined with molecular printing and its application as a folic acid sorbent in a food matrix. The present invention relates to the application of a molecularly printed folic acid polymer with restricted access as adsorbent material for chromatographic cleaning of milk samples. The synthesis of the organic-inorganic hybrid polymer described in this invention is highlighted by the use of folic acid in the presence of methacrylic acid with subsequent surface modification with 3-glycidoxypropyl trimethoxysilane. When comparing the results, it can be noticed that the mip-ram has smaller surface area and smaller pore volume in relation to nip-ram. The synthesized polymer mip-ram proved to be an efficient material for macromolecule exclusion, sample clean-up and for folic acid quantification in enriched milk powder samples.
