The present invention describes a composite from the mixture of mineral and glass. Specifically, the present invention comprises a mineral and glass composite and its manufacturing process, with process specifications so that the inorganic glass matrix is formed during a heat treatment and is capable of joining the mineral to form a plate. The inorganic glass matrix has several benefits, such as better mechanical properties, higher heat resistance, chemicals and weathering exposure. The present invention is in the fields of materials engineering, construction and ceramics.
