Abstract bacteriophage ESC - cop - 1 type of E. coli F18 Shiga toxin producing innovative and use of same for inhibition of proliferation of E.Coli F18 producing Shiga toxin type, the present invention relates to a bacteriophage ESC - Cop 1 myoviridae which is isolated from the nature and can wipe out specifically the strains of E.Coli F18 producing Shiga toxin type, which has a genome represented by the sequence of nucleotides of SEQ. ID.In: 1 (in access: KCTC 12662bp), and a method of prevention and treatment of infections by E.Coli type 18 producing Shiga toxin with the use of the composition comprising the said bacteriophage as an active ingredient.
