The present invention relates to the field of thermoplastic composite materials. more particularly, the invention relates to a flame retardant fluorinated thermoplastic composition, the prepreg material prepared from this composition and the composite material containing said prepreg material, as well as the processes allowing the manufacture and uses of said material. Additionally, the invention concerns the use of a thermoplastic prepreg material for the manufacture of fire resistant composite materials.
