The oil produced from this seed has at least 68% oleic acid and no more than 3% linolenic acid relative to the total fatty acids in the oil. Specific canola strains are also provided with these characteristics. so far no canola seed has been provided offering the combined advantages of excellent oil together with high quality coarse flour.
