The subject of the proposed patent is a method of preparing thin layers (2) of "black" aluminium by means of vacuum magnetron sputtering, the use of a coating (4) with a precious metal layer (3) for protection and improvement of the properties of these layers, and application of this coating for thermal absorption coverage of anodes. For the preparation of the layers (2), a disk of pure aluminium is used as the source material and the modification of the properties of the layers (3) is achieved by a suitable combination of deposition conditions. The layers (2) of black aluminium show, due to the specific surface nanostructure, excellent absorption properties in the ultraviolet (UV), visible and infrared areas of electromagnetic radiation. The selected method allows these layers to be effectively and inexpensively prepared for different substrates (e.g. glass, steel) and is also suitable for covering large areas. The coverage of the "black" aluminium layer (2) with a thin layer (3) of the precious metal makes it possible to further improve the above-mentioned properties and, in addition, to provide protection.
