The invention relates to improved coating materials based on RMA-systems (from English: Michael addition reaction), which are crosslinked using the classic Michael addition reaction. Coating materials at the same time contain at least from 15 to 70 wt.% One or more CH-acid compounds A, from 4 to 40 wt.% One or more vinyllogical carbonyl compounds B, from 0.1 to 15 wt.% One or more latent alkaline catalysts C, up to 10% by weight of one or more photo stabilizers, up to 20% by weight of one or more open time agents, and up to 20% by weight of one or more means of viability period, in all cases in terms of on the total weight of the coating material. The invention also relates to coatings and coating systems obtained in this way, in particular to base varnish-transparent varnish systems, as well as coated components, in particular to components of railway vehicles and aircraft, for example railway cars or airplanes.
